Human Rights League sues French arms manufacturer for complicity in war crimes against Palestinians

A HUMAN rights organisation has launched legal proceedings against a French arms manufacturer for “complicity in war crimes.”

A lawyer for the Human Rights League (HRL) has argued that arms firm Eurolinks for its production of components used for automatic weapons used in the killing of civilians.

The suit comes after dock workers in Marseille, where the company is based, blocked cargo ships which were said to carry military components.

Eurolinks provides Israeli company IMI Systems with detached components which hold bullets together inside of machine guns said to be used by the Israel Defence Force.

HRL denounced the French company’s essential role in the assault against Palestinians in Gaza.

Lawyer Emmanuel Daoud said the weapons “are used against the entire Gazan population.

“When you’re aware of the crime of genocide, of crimes against humanity being committed on a daily basis, you can not participate even from a far, or in any way in the commission [of weapons].”
