THE British government secretly developed a defence plan with Israel, Declassified revealed today.

A project codenamed HEZUK was designed to counter the “destabilising regional activity of Iran and Hezbollah” by strengthening intelligence and military co-operation, according to documents leaked by a group called Anonymous for Justice

Leaked presentation slides prepared by Britain’s defence attache to Tel Aviv in 2020 for a delegation from the UK’s Higher Command and Staff Course indicate that the project was born in 2019-20.

The project was referenced again when two British officers planned to visit Israel for “capability development” on “information operations” the same year.

The plan seemed to be ongoing as recently as last year, with documents showing that British Major General James Roddis visited Tel Aviv, citing “HEZUK” as the purpose of his trip.

Former soldier Joe Glenton, who works for ForcesWatch, told Declassified: “The public urgently need to know if the military and intelligence engagements detailed in these documents, which appear to date back a few years now, are still live programmes. 

“Because if they are, British military and intelligence personnel are being put to work supporting a genocidal state.”
