US-Britain air raids on Yemen show our politicians have ‘no humanity,’ anti-war campaigners say
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak issues a statement at 10 Downing Street, London, after British and US forces struck Houthi targets in Yemen in the fifth combined operation since January, May 31, 2024

THE latest Western air raids on Houthi rebels in Yemen show our politicians have “no humanity,” anti-war campaigners said today.

Joint US and British strikes killed 16 people and injured more than 40, according to the Iranian-backed group’s health ministry.

The Houthis said everyone killed or injured was a civilian after the capital, Sana’a, the port of Hodeidah, and Taiz in the south-west of the region were hit in the strikes.
