Green co-leaders Slater and Harvie get nominations for ministerial posts

THE Scottish Greens have confirmed their co-leaders will be the party’s nominations for ministerial positions within the Scottish government, should a proposed deal with the SNP pass this weekend.
Lorna Slater and Patrick Harvie are set to take on junior roles as part of a co-operation agreement, leading on portfolios covered by the draft policy platform between the two parties.
One of the MSPs will be charged with delivering plans to decarbonise transport, homes and buildings, as well as a new deal for tenants, while the other will focus on green skills, industries like energy and restoring the natural environment.
