Delegate Paul Richards said: “This law is hugely important to the north-west and Irish region but its impact will be felt across the country.”
It would help people who lost loved ones due to government mishandling of the Covid pandemic, Grenfell Tower disaster, the Infected Blood Scandal, nuclear test veterans, the union’s conference heard.
