Drakeford praises ‘mature, progressive politics’ of Wales in last First Minister's Questions

MARK DRAKEFORD said the Senedd could be proud of showcasing “mature, progressive politics” in his last First Minister’s Questions.
Mr Drakeford stepped down today after six years leading the Welsh government. He is succeeded by Vaughan Gething.
Asked by Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth whether a recent remark that “Labour alone” had a special bond with the Welsh people took Welsh voters for granted, Mr Drakeford said Labour had to “earn every vote” and that while it had always been the biggest party in the Senedd, it was proud to work alongside other parties.
