Doohan to race in Abu Dhabi as Ocon’s time at Alpine ends
Jack Doohan during F2 qualifying, July 1, 2022

AUSTRALIAN driver Jack Doohan will make his debut at the concluding race of the Formula One season in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

Doohan, 21, will replace Esteban Ocon who is leaving Alpine to join Haas next season.

The decision means Ocon, who claimed Alpine’s sole victory in F1 so far at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix, will be free to drive for Haas at next week’s end-of-season test, also in Abu Dhabi.
