FOREIGN Secretary David Lammy condemned Israeli settlers today after masked rioters went on a “widespread rampage” against Palestinians in the West Bank.

Mr Lammy, who is currently on a visit to Israel and the Palestinian Occupied Territories (OPT) alongside the French foreign minister, said the behaviour of the Israeli settlers on Thursday night was “abhorrent.”

A Palestinian was killed and others were badly injured after they rioted in the village of Jit, near the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, according to Palestinian health officials.
