Chelsea make it three for three with home victory over Liverpool

Chelsea made it three successive wins from their opening Women’s Super League matches with a 1-0 win over Liverpool at Kingsmeadow on Saturday.

The Blues opened the new season with back-to-back 6-0 victories, and went ahead through Maren Mjelde after 14 minutes.

Karen Carney and Ji So Yun both had chances to double the home side’s lead before the break.
