Judge allows fresh contempt of court case against Yaxley-Lennon
Antifascists protest against Tommy Robinson's supporters near the Old Bailey in central London today

ANTI-RACISM campaigners gathered outside the Old Bailey today, where judges gave the green light for fresh contempt of court proceedings to be brought against far-right hate preacher “Tommy Robinson.”

The former English National Defence (EDL) leader, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, faces an allegation that he committed contempt of court by filming people in a criminal trial and broadcasting footage on social media.

Two High Court judges gave permission for a new case to be brought against him following an application by Attorney General Geoffrey Cox QC.
