Activists march to Manchester demo

ANTI-AUSTERITY campaigners in north-west England are to stage a four-day march to the October 4 protest at the Tory Party conference in Manchester.

Thirty-five activists will start the People’s March Against Austerity at Hoylake on Merseyside at noon on October 1.

Merseyside campaigners will be joined by a team from Tredegar in Wales who will march under the banner Save Our NHS.
