WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: Rangers brushed aside bottom club Hamilton 4-0 to open up a three point lead in the Scottish Women’s Premiership after second-placed Celtic were held to a 1-1 draw at Hearts.

Reigning champions Glasgow City eased past Partick Thistle 6-0, Motherwell edged to a 1-0 win away at Dundee United, the Spartans drew 1-1 with Montrose and Jorian Baucom netted a hat-trick in Hibernian’s 7-0 demolition of Aberdeen.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: London Lions still top the Women’s British Basketball League by two points after Megan Gustafson sank 22 points in their comfortable 111-69 win at Durham.

Caledonia Gladiators remain second after thumping bottom club Cardiff Met 81-38, Valerie Cassidy De Falco top-scored with 28 points as Nottingham won their first game of the season, 86-72 in Manchester, Essex beat Sheffield 75-67 and Oaklands saw off Newcastle 91-76.

MEN’S CRICKET: England are 2-1 down heading into Tuesday’s leg of their five match Twenty20 series with the West Indies after winning Saturday’s game in Grenada by seven wickets.

Chasing 223 opener Phil Salt hit an unbeaten 109 from 56 balls before Harry Brook smashed 31 from just seven deliveries to seal victory with one ball to spare. Adil Rashid yet again returned England’s best bowling figures with 2-32.

ICE HOCKEY: Coventry earned their seventh successive victory with a 3-2 overtime win against Glasgow on Sunday evening to move third in the Elite League.

Sheffield still lead the way by four points after weekend wins over bottom club Fife and Dundee, second-placed Cardiff also beat Dundee but were soundly beaten 4-1 at Fife, Manchester lost twice in Belfast and Nottingham and Guildford shared the spoils in their double-header.
