Table-topping Leinster are not in action until Saturday, when they travel to struggling Zebre in Parma.

Tomorrow night’s other game sees Swansea-based Ospreys take on Munster. Ospreys have won their last three home matches while Munster have lost three of their last four away games.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: Chesterfield suffered only their sixth defeat of the season, going down 4-2 to Halifax at a muddy Shay on Wednesday night, to leave them still needing a point to confirm their return to the Football League after six years in the National League.

Will Grigg put the league leaders one up in the 32nd minute before Halifax hit back to lead 3-1 at half-time. Chesterfield face Boreham Wood at home on Saturday.

MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: Sam Lisone and James Bentley are both set to return from injury for Leeds Rhinos on Friday night when they host St Helens in the pick of this weekend’s Challenge Cup sixth round ties.

MEN’S FOOTBALL: England’s under 21s face Azerbaijan in Baku on Friday afternoon for a crucial Euros qualifying fixture.

The young Lions currently sit three points behind group leaders Ukraine in the race for automatic qualification to next year’s tournament in Slovakia.

The Republic of Ireland are at San Marino for their Group A game while Wales welcome Latvia to Newport’s Rodney Parade for a Group I match.
